Batterjee Medical College (BMC) has signed a Strategic Training Partnership Agreement with SaudiVax (SVax), a leading biotechnology company specializing in vaccine and biopharmaceutical manufacturing in Saudi Arabia.
The agreement aims to launch specialized training programs in biomanufacturing and vaccine production, supporting knowledge transfer and the development of national competencies in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Biotechnology Strategy.
SaudiVax is one of the Kingdom’s pioneering biotech firms, committed to enhancing vaccine readiness, developing sustainable biopharmaceutical solutions, and empowering national talents to build a strong local biotechnology ecosystem.
Representing SaudiVax at the signing were Prof. Mazen Hassanain (CEO), Dr. Ashraf Dehlawi (COO), Ms. Shouq Aljuaid (Head of HR & Program Manager), Ms. Ruaa Alsaigh (Director of Operations), and Mr. Yasser Alkhomri (Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Operations).
From BMC, attendees included Dr. Ahmed Altyar (Chief Business Development Officer), Prof. Siddiq Justineh (Student Training Director), Dr. Basim Abuzanada (Chief Academic Officer), and Dr. Maher (Chief Quality Officer).
