Smoking Cessation Campaign to BUPA company

Estimate the economic burden and financial cost of smoking.
Understand the behavioral and psychological mechanism of dependance.
Know the strategies used to quit smoking and the medications used in Nicotine replacement therapy.

Brief Description
Students from Pharmacy Program and Respiratory Program were invited to BUPA company to conduct an awareness campaign on the benefits of smoking cessation. The audience of the campaign is BUPA employees. Students discussed the different aspects of smoking, including the understanding of behavioral and psychological mechanism of Nicotine dependance. Students were supervised by Prof. Ahmed Albary. The feedback on the campaign was very positive from BUPA side.
