Dr. Lujain Samarkandi is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Health Management Program at Batterjee Medical College, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Samarkandi earned her Ph.D. in Professional Leadership in Health Science from Seton Hall University, the Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration, and Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Haven. Dr. Samarkandi’s experience relies on all aspects of health management including health leadership, strategic management, digital health, and healthcare financial management

Mohammad Adel Ghandour AL-Bsheish
Assistant professor
Assistant Professor in the Health Management department at Batterjee Medical College (BMC). Al-Bsheish's experience has been extended in both practical and academic fields for 16 years. During this period, he worked as nurse’s supervisor, deputy manager, program head, and faculty member. Currently, he is teaching several courses in the health Management department in BMC. Al-Bsheish completed his Ph.D. in Healthcare Management from the University Utara Malaysia (UUM) and his undergraduate studies at Mu’tah University and Al-Yarmouk University in Jordan. He has been working as a reviewer in several international journals such as JNM and Inquiries. Lastly, Al-Bsheish is registered as a member of professional entities such as the Jordanian Association for Hospitals, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialists, and the Jordanian Nurses & Midwives Council.

Dr. Rana earned her Ph.D. in Public Health & Health Systems | Applied Human Nutrition | Biochemistry An experienced academic and public health professional with over 8 years of expertise in Canada and Saudi Arabia. Holds a Ph.D. in Public Health & Health Systems from the University of Waterloo, a Master’s in Applied Human Nutrition from Mount Saint Vincent University, and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from King Abdulaziz University. Expertise includes public health program design, health system management, and health promotion, with a focus on improving health outcomes through effective public health strategies. As an Assistant Professor, taught courses in public health, health management, nutrition, and wellness, with a focus on public health program design and health system management

Over two decades of progressive roles at leading institutions, including King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital University Dental Hospital and King Fahd General Hospital, demonstrated expertise in health information systems, patient affairs, and leadership management affairs, and leadership management.
